I just wanted to send you some pictures of the dress I made using your patterns. I won the Junior Lady Costume Contest at Mule Camp with this dress. My mom, Fannie Kikinshoot, and her friends The Carolina Belles use your patterns all the time.

I wanted to make my own ballgown for the contest, so my Mom helped me decide on patterns and fabric. I used the 1860's ballgown bodice and the 1851 petal skirt pattern. My dress is made of ivory silkworm silk and blue satin striped organza. I was surprised at how little I had to ask my Mom to help. The bertha and gathering that skirt into the waist band was all she helped me with.

I just wanted to let other teenage girls that may look at your website that it is possible for them to make a dress too. I love my dress, and everyone was shocked that I made it myself.

Thank you for having such great patterns,
Aneeda Bullseye,
