1872browndress

This is my all time favorite dress, and 1872 reception gown. It is made of brown/black German Brocade (whatever that is, but it feels like cotton), brown cotton velvet, and brown tissue faille (poly most likely). The underskirt is basically TV201 with faille shirring over it. I made my own velvet ribbon to cover the stitching lines of the shirring. The overskirt is TV301, brocade with gold embroideries on the velvet. The bodice is TV405, with more velvet and gold embroideries.
