Howdy...
everything going along well but am perplexed by the pattern markings for the front drapery of this overskirt.
the side pleats are fine until I get to the top one..it is really big and if folded upward sticks above the waist..
also..on the markings for the long pleats it looks like the guidelines for the size L is horizontal pleats..the ones at the waistband are for small sizes...What am I not getting? I have looked at this from every angle and cannot figure it out..sigh

The markings for front pleats were turned to fit on the paper. Once the fabric is cut, move the fabric over the pleats guide of the size you need to mark the pleats. Line up the right hand edge with the edge of the pleat guide.
For the back, all the pleats should fall downwards. So the big pleat at the top will fall inside and over the other pleats. On the correct side of the fabric, take the bottom of the pleat mark and move it up to the top pleat mark, with the fabric in between the marks falling down on the inside. This is one of the few instances where the back pleats face up on the outside.
