should I make the same size?

Postby marylou426 » Fri May 11, 2012 9:31 am

I was just wondering, would I be the same sizes for all TV bodice patterns. I've only made 1860's ball gown bodice, I'm size I on the side and back and H on the front. I want to do the 1872 vest basque. I'm just trying to save time. Also, how about the length? I had to lengthen the ballgown bodice 1.5 inches.

Good news is I have enough white satin let on the bolt I bought for my wedding dress to make my NEW bustle!

Yes, you should be able to use the same sizes every time from pattern to pattern. And the lengths waist to armpit are same. However, as I redraft patterns into the CAD format, the lengths from armpit to neck are changing a bit. So that part might be different.
