Our 1905 gowns

Postby Val » Thu Aug 09, 2012 8:47 am

Both Jennifer Rosbrugh and I made up the TVE skirts, and I used the TVE blouse/waist, while Jennifer used an old vintage pattern for her's.
We wore these to Costume College last weekend, and to the Sunday Fantasy Tea there. We are getting lots and lots of compliments on these gowns.
Mine is the pink floral cotton voile, Jen's is the yellow seersucker.
I already bought fabric for a heavier skirt of olive w/ brown stripes, and two fabrics, a white figured cotton voile, and a cream sheer silk voile for more blouses. Its a great pattern, Heather & Laura!

Awesome! I have that pattern from VPL, I was wondering how it looked made up. Really gorgeous, both of you. :D

Simply stunning ladies! Out of curiosity, what pattern is the other blouse made from? Lovely choice of colours, very flattering to you both and feminine!

My pink striped waist is made from TVE #41. Jennifer's yellow waist is made from a vintage pattern she purchased that used to be offered on the Vintage Patten Lending Library VPLL but is no longer available.

I'll make this easy; here is Jennifer's write-up about her outfit.
