Find out how to get that dang thing to fit.

Hi, I need to make my daughter a bustle gown, but her measurements don't fit the patterns - I'm attempting to do TV 460 Bustle Cuirass Bodice.
Her waist is 24.5", bust 28.5", hips 33". Is there a way I can adjust the bodice? I don't really want to buy another pattern, and am using this one for myself at the moment.
Cheers, Aylwen

You don't say how old your daughter is, but if she is young enough to wear a looser fitted dress (say under 12 or so) then it will work. I would simply cut the smallest size for the 30" bust, and you will have some ease which is good for younger persons. Then leave out the darts, as she will not need the shaping, which should give you plenty of room in the waist too. You will most likley need to adjust for lengths over the shoulder or to the waist, but you can figure out that when you try a mock up on her.

She's 13 and has a very small bust at the moment - by her measurements you can see she's very slim but she's the same height as me. She normally wears a girls 12 or a womans 6 (adjusted).
