Undies, everyone has to wear them.

I've got a question for everyone who's made the combinations.
Don't the buttons dig in under your corset?

Ok, my combination is still a bunch of cut out pieces of muslin... but my experience with tightlacing is that it's things at your waist (and specifically at the sides of your waist) that are uncomfortable or painful. Or wrinkles. wrinkles suck.

I've never had a problem with the buttons. For one thing, they are tiny, so there isn't much of anything there to dig in (less than half an inch, maybe 3/5"?). And, there are about three layers of fabric beneath them (because the edge is folded under and hemmed), so that pads them. Also, the corset doesn't put a whole lot of pressure right down the front. So, there shouldn't be any trouble at all.
