Well I am still up for this as I am visiting my brother anyway. Anyone know what the plans are?

Second thoughts, scrap the request below its going to be too complicated and doesn't give us much time.
Tiffers lets go ahead with whatever schedule you had planned.
Have we got a time yet? My schedule just got more complicated, my BF would need to be back in staines by 6 which would mean leaving about 4.15 or him not being able to come
Any chance we could go for lunch rather than dinner, and be ready to go in when the house opens? Or not, if things are already organised then I'll still be coming without him!

Hi, I've just come on the site to check what the final plans are as well... but it seems to have gone quiet... Anybody heard from Tiffers with confirmation? Would like to know what time we are meeting and if we can get changed there when we arrive. I hope it is still on as I've been looking forward to it!

Ladies, I am so sorry!
I thought I had done an update to this thread over a week ago saying I needed to postpone the date for me as something important has come up that I need to do on Saturday
Would it be ok to organise it for a wee bit later in the month or the beginning of next month?
So sorry!!

I'm afraid its unlikely I will be able to make an alternative date as I am not down that end of the country all that often. I will be visiting my brother in Southampton arriving Friday evening and leaving again Sunday afternoon, if any of you fancy meeting up anywhere about there for tea anyway let me know. I will be contactable on here until about lunchtime tomorrow.

Oh, that's a shame! I am ok with rescheduling, but the only other free Saturday I have this month is the 20th. Otherwise I am not free until 4 July. Would either of these dates suit people?

Oh, what a disappointment! I just got my dress out to try it on (not been to anything since November)... However, I've just checked and heavy rain is forecast for Salisbury on Saturday.
How many were due to go? The weekends get busy, what would be an alternative date? Can we organise something else?

Susan, just saw your message appeared at the same time as mine. Sadly, we are away on the 20th of June and the 4th of July we have people visiting. What a shame! I was really keen to go. If many people were free this Saturday, should we go ahead and do something anyway?
(though shame about the rain if it is to be pouring down...) What do people think?

I think I would also struggle to find another free saturday this month (I know I can't do the 20th!), but I'm ok with rescheduling for sometime in July if thats ok with everyone else - although I was looking forward to saturday it would be a shame to go without our organiser!
Plus if it is going to rain cream and yellow floor length skirts might not be the most practical outfit.

lol message boards get confusing if three of you are online at the same time!
I'm willing to go with the consensus of the group, and would have no objections to another outing later in the year to include any who can't make it on whatever dat we do choose.

Shall we post our available dates then?
At the moment, I could make: 13th and 27th June or 11th and 25th of July (either Saturdays or Sundays could be ok)

I am pretty much free on any Saturday in July at this stage, or even a Sunday if I know well in advance, so hopefully we can find another day when we're all free.
Regarding this Saturday, would anyone be keen for a trip to Windsor, perhaps? I have been wanting an excuse to dress up and go there!

Gemma, you are right, I wouldn't want to do it without Tiffers as it was her suggestion, I just meant whether we could have arranged something else on that date (as people had kept that date free) until we could re-arrange Breamore House. But it is a bit short-noticed now to find somewhere we could go in victorian attire.

Windsor shows heavy rain for Saturday as well....

Did you mean to visit the castle?

Yes, and the town. But I guess it will be pretty miserable if it's raining.

Stupid English weather! I'd be willing to give windsor a go in drizzle (although I'd have to wear a different dress, which means no hat

) but if its actually going to tip down then it would be pretty miserable

Maybe we should all just meet up in London and go fabric shopping!

Could do (oops, there goes my budget!) It would be fun to meet some like minded ladies even without the costumes!
What about the Victoria and Albert Museum? The costume collection is small (but classy!) but I don't think a group of victorian ladies would look out of place anywhere in the building! Not sure about the transport/places to change though.
