What happened? Any other Ally Kittens out there that are getting "this acount suspended" notice when they try to access the sight?

I lurk on Belle Alley every once in a while, and I'm getting that message too. I wonder what happened? Hopefully nothing bad happened to the site!

I think there was a warning that there might be a few hours of downtime posted, but its been down all week Hopefully the problem will be sorted soon!

I know some changes were coming but thought it wouldn't be down this long.

Okay, it is now the 26th and still no Belle Alley. I haven't been at the site for a while, just tried and I got that "suspended" message. I thought, OMG, all that wonderful information is gone!!!! Lost forever? I hope not. Has anyone heard anything about what's going on? Thank goodness Truly Victorian is still here or I'd be having serious panic attacks.

I know its down because ownership is being transfered between the Belles and Hugh Damnright. I rather think I recall him quoting an address he would be hosting at until transer was complete - I think he was trying to ensure the whole forum was safe - but I forgot to write the adress he quoted down.

Not sure thats any help but I think thats whats happening!

Well at least thats something. I was begining to worry bout every one. I 'm glad you have cleared up some of the mystery.Thanks Tiffers. I hope somone who knows the new address will let us in on it. I know theres alot of cross posters between here and there.

I didn't write down the new address either, but I think Hugh said it was only going to be changing from .net to .com, but I could be wrong since carolinabelles.com doesn't seem to be working either.

Ok, I just googled Hugh's name and found an email address, so I've sent off a request for information. Hopefully it'll be back soon!

Right now I am stuck and looking into what options are available to get it going again. I was unable to do the transfer as planned due to the size of the forum. It will be on the same web address as before, once I get something worked out. At this time I can't offer a time frame. Wish I had better news.
